December 4th and 5th

We have an opportunity to celebrate the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception this week

• This is a holy day of obligation
• A Spanish Mass will be held on Tuesday night at 6:00 pm
• On Wednesday, there will be an English Mass at 9:00 am and a bilingual Mass at 6:00 pm

We would like to recognize and thank two devoted parishioners for their time in their chosen ministries

• First, is Julie Walsh who served as our Director of Religious Education
• Next, is Jorge Calderilla who is celebrating his 3rd anniversary as a deacon

Our parish has volunteered to provide a Community Meal this Thursday, December 9 at the Methodist Church across the street 

• The intent of this outreach is to provide meals for those who might be hungry, alone or lonely, and in need of a friendly smile  
• Your financial help is requested so our team can provide a nutritious "take out" meal to offer
• This is a way for us to show the Methodist Congregation our gratitude for providing us with classroom space (without cost) to educate our 1st Communion children each year so they can learn about our faith in a suitable space
• If this activity is something you would like to help with, please speak with Charlene Dronen
• If there is enough interest, we would like to consider providing another meal in the future
• There are envelopes in the pews to offer a donation
• After Mass you can drop the envelope in the tall wooden donation box at the entry

Please note that there will be acolyte training this Tuesday at 5:00 pm in Spanish

Also, we have just the event for you Early Birds out there

• Father will be celebrating “The Mañanitas” (Mana-nitas) on December 12th at 5:00 am
• This is a time devoted to singing songs in Spanish to honor Our Lady of Guadalupe

There is a lot going on in the entrance to our church

• You will see a big red box with a gold bow
• This is the drop-off container for our Christmas Toy Drive this year
• Please consider adding newly purchased items for distribution
• We have two weeks to fill the box - until December 19th

In addition, you will find two items to pick up as you exit today

• One is the yearly calendar donated by Elias and Paty Ramirez
  • And this one features a photo and advertisement for our new church 
• Second is a book entitled “Life is Messy”
  • These were graciously donated by our fellow church member, Theresa Druzak (Drew-zach)
  • This is  the latest book written by accomplished Catholic author, Matthew Kelly
  • It addresses “real life” topics of life's complications while offering hope and healing insights and inspirations
• You are welcome to take one calendar and one book per family

Tenemos la oportunidad de celebrar la Solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción esta semana.

• Este es un día sagrado de obligación.
• Se llevará a cabo una Misa en español este martes por la noche a las 6:00 pm.
• El miércoles, habrá una Misa en inglés a las 9:00 am y una Misa bilingüe a las 6:00 pm

Nuestra parroquia se ha ofrecido voluntariamente para proporcionar una comida comunitaria este jueves 9 de diciembre en la Iglesia Metodista. 

• La intención de este evento es proporcionar comida para aquellos que puedan tener hambre, están solos, y en necesidad de una sonrisa amistosa  
• Se solicita su ayuda financiera para que nuestro equipo pueda ofrecerle una comida nutritiva para llevar.
• Esta es una manera de mostrarle a la Congregación Metodista nuestra gratitud por brindarnos salones para educar a nuestros niños de 1ra Comunión cada año.
• Si le gustaría ayudar por favor hable con Charlene Dronen, la esposa del diácono Bill
• Si hay mucho interés, podríamos considerar ofrecer otra comida en el futuro.
• Hay sobres en las bancas si desea donar para comprar lo necesario para la comida.
• Después de la Misa, puede dejar el sobre en la caja de donaciones en la entrada.

Habrá un entrenamiento de acólitos este martes a las 5:00 pm. Se les pide a todos los acólitos venir. Los nuevos acólitos no deben faltar.

• Tendremos las mañanitas el 12 de diciembre a las 5:00 am.
• También Flavio Ramos estará cantándole a la Virgen de 10:30 am a 11:00 am.
• Este es un tiempo dedicado a cantarle a Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe

Están sucediendo muchas cosas en la entrada de nuestra Iglesia

• Verá una gran caja roja con un lazo dorado.
• Este es el contenedor de colección de juguetes navideños de este año.
• Considere agregar artículos recién comprados para su distribución
• Tenemos hasta el 19 de diciembre para llenar la caja. Aproximadamente dos semanas.

Además, encontrará dos artículos para recoger cuando salga de Misa hoy.

• Uno es el calendario anual, donado por Elías y Paty Ramírez.
  • Y este presenta una foto y un anuncio de nuestra nueva Iglesia.
• El segundo es un libro titulado “La vida es complicada”
  • Estos libros fueron amablemente donados por Teresa Druzak 
  • Este es el último libro escrito por el autor católico, Matthew Kelly
  • Habla acerca “de la vida real” y sus complicaciones, mientras que ofrece esperanza y perspectivas de curación e inspiraciones
• Por favor lleve un calendario y un libro por familia

Nos gustaría reconocer y agradecer a dos feligreses devotos por su tiempo en los ministerios

• Primero, a Julie Walsh quien se desempeñó como nuestra directora de Educación Religiosa
• Y también quisiéramos felicitar a Jorge Calderilla quien está celebrando su tercer aniversario como diácono. Démosle un fuerte aplauso.
