Announcement
November 19th and 20th
Again, we are most grateful to those of you who have already made a donation to the Annual Catholic Appeal
We have had quite an outpouring of generosity over the last two weeks
If you would still like to make your donation, you will find envelopes on the table at the entryway
There is also a drop off collection box in the same area for you to leave your contribution
If you prefer to use a QR code, there is one in our bulletin and on our church website
Thanksgiving is next Thursday
Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, we will not have religious education that week for 1st Communion or Confirmation classes
Also there will not be an exposition of the Blessed Sacrament later that day
But we will have a bilingual Mass that morning at 10:00 a.m. so we can come together to count our many blessings
The weekend following Thanksgiving is when Advent begins as does our Church’s liturgical year
Thanks to Edith Miguel and the Liturgy Committee, we now have a year long liturgical calendar available for your use
It lists all of the events taking place at OLA for the entire year
You can pick up a hard copy of it as you exit and soon it will be accessible on our church website
To celebrate Advent, we do have a candle centerpiece decoration for purchase
You’ll find this item available as you exit as well as the donation box on the back wall
Do you remember our Christmas Toy Drive from last year?
The collection box was overflowing!
Well, we’ll soon have that box in place and would welcome your unwrapped gift
The gifts can be for children 0-18 years of age
We ask for your donation by December 16th as the distribution date is the 21st
There are new ministry schedules available for those who volunteer
Please pick up a copy as you exit after Mass
