We are excited to see which young women between the ages of 16-21 decide to run for Miss OLA
No special talent is needed – just the desire to represent and serve Our Lady of the Assumption
We will find out who will wear the crown at the Romantic Dinner in February 2024
It is now July and we will be taking registrations for 1st Communion or Confirmation until the end of this month only
You can easily sign up after Mass today if you have the baptismal certificate and a $45 donation
If you do not have those two items, please bring them with you to Mass next weekend
Were the Knights of Columbus every busy last weekend?
In addition to barbequing hot dogs and hamburgers for our 1st Annual Ministry Appreciation Potluck, they also provided a similar feast for the Upper Valley Connection
The Upper Valley Connection provides athletic and social activities four our special needs community
The cookout for the Upper Valley Connection was for those who were in the cast of their performance in the play, Mary Poppins
We thank all of the members for your dedication and hard work behind the scenes of many fun events
And our local chapter is having a change in leadership. John Harrington is the new Grand Knight, Tim Cunningham is the Deputy Knight and Joe Champagne is the Financial Secretary. Thank you, gentlemen!
And with deep gratitude we would like to honor our outgoing Grand Knight, Ken Goedde. Through his service over the last three years, he held the group together during Covid and they have emerged as an even stronger anchor of service for our church.
And under Ken’s leaderships the Cashmere/Leavenworth Council is now officially the Council of Our Lady of the Assumption.
Ken, please rise and let us show you our admiration and appreciation!
