From your Pastor…
I am filled with joy as I reflect upon how many of you have responded so generously to the building of our church.  We are one step closer and the goal is in sight. The second phase of our capital campaign will kick off during the weekend of March 22 and March 23.   The theme for this phase of the campaign will be “Let us complete it together.”  
We have already accomplished much thus far.  The sacred pieces created from marble have been designed uniquely for our church.  I think you would agree that the draft images of what is being created are breathtaking.   What is equally edifying is that all of these pieces have been sponsored.   Your sacrifices are concretely reflected in these accomplishments and I cannot thank you enough.
The beauty of what is ahead of us is being made manifest day in and day out.   I am excited to see this ongoing progress in creating what will truly be the HOUSE OF GOD AND THE GATE TO HEAVEN.   This building will be an instrument to draw people closer to God for generations to come.
I invite you to prayerfully consider your ability to support the next phase of our campaign.  Our goal is to pay off our diocesan loan of $2,000,000 and I trust your demonstrated generosity to help pay this off.  Pledge envelopes will soon arrive in your homes which you can return on the weekend of March 22 and 23.
                As we continue with this new phase, I want to bring to mind the words of saint Paul who said to the Church in Corinth: “Whoever sows generously will also reap generously” (2 Corinthians 9:5-7).   This is not only a reminder of our financial support but a call to continue doing things with hearts filled with faith and hope trusting that the Lord will multiply our efforts for his honor and glory.  
                Let us pray for the success of the “Let us complete it together” phase of our campaign.  Our dream is definitely coming true.  There is much about this that sustains our hope in the future. As we continue to move forward, we are reminded of the motto for our Jubilee year: “Pilgrims of Hope.” We are pilgrims living in hope as we work together to complete our church. May the Lord bless you abundantly as we complete this task together.

Me llena de alegría pensar en cuántos de ustedes han respondido tan generosamente a la construcción de nuestra Iglesia. Estamos un paso más cerca y la meta está a la vista. La segunda fase de nuestra Campaña Capital comenzará durante el fin de semana del 22 y 23 de marzo. El tema de esta fase de la campaña será “Completemos la construcción juntos”.
Ya hemos logrado mucho hasta ahora. Las piezas sagradas creadas de mármol han sido diseñadas exclusivamente para nuestra Iglesia. Creo que estarán de acuerdo en que las imágenes preliminares de lo que se está creando son impresionantes. Lo que es igualmente edificante es que todas estas piezas han sido patrocinadas. Sus sacrificios se reflejan concretamente en estos logros y no puedo agradecerles lo suficiente.
La belleza de lo que nos espera se está manifestando día tras día. Estoy emocionado de ver este progreso continuo en la creación de lo que verdaderamente será la CASA DE DIOS Y LA PUERTA AL CIELO. Este edificio será un instrumento para acercar a las personas a Dios durante las generaciones venideras. Los invito a que consideren en oración su capacidad para apoyar la siguiente fase de nuestra campaña. Nuestra meta es pagar nuestro préstamo diocesano de $2,000,000 y confío en que su generosidad demostrada ayudará a pagarlo. Pronto llegarán a sus hogares los sobres de donación que podrán devolver el fin de semana del 22 y 23 de marzo.
Mientras continuamos con esta nueva fase, quiero recordar las palabras de San Pablo que le dijo a la Iglesia de Corinto: “Miren: el que siembra con mezquindad, con mezquindad cosechará, y el que siembra sin calcular, cosechará también fuera de todo cálculo. (2 Corintios 9:5-7). Esto no es solo un recordatorio de nuestro apoyo financiero, sino un llamado a seguir haciendo las cosas con corazones llenos de fe y esperanza, confiando en que el Señor multiplicará nuestros esfuerzos para su honor y gloria.
Oremos por el éxito de la fase “Completemos la construcción juntos” de nuestra campaña. Nuestro sueño definitivamente se está haciendo realidad. Hay mucho en esto que sostiene nuestra esperanza en el futuro. A medida que avanzamos, recordamos el lema de nuestro año jubilar: “Peregrinos de la esperanza”. Somos peregrinos que vivimos en la esperanza mientras trabajamos juntos para completar nuestra Iglesia. Que el Señor los bendiga abundantemente mientras completamos esta tarea juntos.
